The course curriculum has been designed to equip a pharmaceutical technologist with adequate knowledge and skills to meet the requirements of Pharmaceutical Industry, Hospital Pharmacy, Research Institutions.More options have been given to be able to select elective subjects suited for diverse employment potential.
- Pass in 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects.
- Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Admission to the course will take place in terms of the admission notification issued by the university every year before the commencement of the academic session. Selection for admission to the course will be based on the eligibility criteria, aggregate marks (10+2), WBJEEB rank/ AIEEE rank.

After graduation (B. Pharm) in Pharmacy the students can opt for master degree in various specializations of Master in Pharmacy (M. Pharm), Master of Science in Pharmacy (M.S. Pharm), M. Tech (Biotechnology/ Pharmaceuticals and Fine chemical technology), Pharm. D. (Post Baccalaureate), MBA Pharma.
