The Course covers thrust areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering, e.g, Materials, Components and Processes in Electronics. Moreover Applied & Industrial Electronics, Microwave Engineering, Measurement & Instrumentation, Television Hardware Development & other related fields are also covered in this course. Expertised with the above mentioned areas are very much needed in the areas of Telecommunication, optical Communication, Microwave, Microprocessor application.
1. Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.
2. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
3. Qualified in WBJEEE/JEE or Adamas University Admission Test (AUAT).

Admission to the course will take place in terms of the Admission Notification issued by the University every year before the commencement of the academic session. Selection for admission to the course will be based on the eligibility criteria, performance in the admission test and also on the policy of reservation, if any, as indicated in the admission notification.
