The syllabus has been prepared with job oriented and emerging subjects in addition to classical subjects. A number of multidisciplinary subjects have also been introduced. This will help the students to take up higher education in areas of their interest
1. Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject.
2. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
3. Qualified in WBJEEE/JEE or Adamas University Admission Test (AUAT).

Admission to the course will take place in terms of the Admission Notification issued by the University every year before the commencement of the academic session. Selection for admission to the course will be based on the eligibility criteria, performance in the admission test and also on the policy of reservation, if any, as indicated in the admission notification.
The syllabus will help to the students to prepare for admission in higher education of their choice. The syllabus is also designed job oriented which will help the students to get placement in core industries as well as other industries like IT Sectors, Marketing.
