Liberal Arts’ is a method of education through which students think and learn across disciplines, literally liberating the mind to its fullest potential. The essence of such an education is not what a student studies, but it enables the ability to think critically and independently and to write, reason, and communicate clearly – the foundation for all professions. A student of Liberal Arts is required to learn broadly and deeply. Depth is covered in major and minor subjects and breadth is covered in ten compulsory subjects covering humanities and arts, daily life sciences, social sciences, IT skill, communication skill, quantitative reasoning, and research methodology. In addition, breadth is also covered in six optional subjects depending on the specific interest of a student. Liberal Arts education in Adamas University will instill in students the values, goals, skills, and knowledge they need to pursue inspiring work, to take joy in lifetime learning, and to lead successful and meaningful lives. Major and minor subjects are chosen by students after they complete internship in rural or urban sectors of the society. Research is a part and parcel of liberal arts course curriculum, by which a student learns how to apply his knowledge and skill in problem solving.
