Dr. Atul Sharma

A Mechanical Engineer from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal, Dr. Sharma has completed his doctoral thesis on 'Design & analysis of Piezoelectric membrane for vibration energy harvesting application' from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. Currently working as Assistant Professor, department of Engineering & Technology (Mechanical) with Adamas University, he was associated ISM, Dhanbad as a Project Fellow contributing to an analytical and numerical investigation project. With his keen ability to conduct research and experiments in a niche field as this, Dr. Sharma will positively be favorable to the growth of Adamas University and will add great value to its learning process.


Mr. Mrityunjay Kumar

Subject : Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Mr. Mrityunjay Kumar has joined Adamas University in its department of Engineering & Technology (Mechanical) as Assistant Professor. Mr. Kumar who is an M. Tech in Manufacturing Engineering (Mechnaical) from IIT Hyderabad, has undertaken a range of projects and course work pertaining to his domain. He also had the distinction of attending national and international workshops and training sessions covering a variety of topics. A multifaceted professional with interests ranging from engineering to human rights, he has an innate ability to motivate students and is highly adaptive to the ever- changing learning needs and styles of students.


Mrs.  Soodipa Chakraborty

Subject : Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Mrs.  Soodipa Chakraborty has joined Adamas University in the School of Engineering and Technology. Mrs. Chakraborty, a M-Tech in Design and Production( Mechanical) Engineering,  has 4 years of experience in teaching in different universities across the country. Prior to M-tech she completed her B.tech in Mechanical Engineering from MAKAUT and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from WBSCTE. Her areas of interest includes Production Engineering , Thermal Engineering and Dynamics of Machinery. She is avid to employ differentiated teaching methods and provide individualized instruction to keep all students at expected skill level.


Mr. Soumyabrata Basak

Subject : Mechanical Engineering (ME)

Mr. Soumyabrata Basak received his B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), in 2013 and M. Tech. in Material Science and Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar in 2016. He joined Adamas University as an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering and Technology, Department of Mechanical Engineering in April, 2016. His subject interest for teaching are in Corrosion Science, Material Science, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics etc. His area of research includes materials evaluation for nuclear power generation, materials evaluation for oil and gas industries, evaluation of materials for structural applications, corrosion studies (general, localized, and SCC), analysis on crack growth rate (CGR) for a minute crack inside the structural material, failure analysis of structural materials with fracture surface evaluation, mechanical and metallurgical properties evaluation for nuclear grade/structural Metal/Metal Alloys. He has published a number of articles in conference proceedings and journals of international repute, some of them are yet to be communicated soon. He also filed two patents successfully which are related with his own area of research work and presently working on few of the same.

Mr. B Venkatesh joined in Adamas University as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering and Technology. He is having one year of experience in teaching filed. Mr. B Venkatesh holds Master Degree in Mechanical System Design from IIT Kharagpur. His area of research is Gear Design and Robot Mechanism.
