Dr. Mahua Ghosal

Subject : Political Science

Dr. Mahua Ghosal joined Adamas University in the Department of Political Science, Public Administration & International Relations. Dr. Mahua Ghosal prior to joining Adamas University had about five years of Teaching experience in KIIT University, Bhubeneswar, BIT, Mesra, Ranchi and RAJ College in West Bengal. Dr.Ghosal obtained Ph.D from IIT Kharagpur and her research area was “Self Help Group, Micro Credit & Women Empowerment”. Dr. Ghosal was also a Research Associate in IIT Kharagpur and worked in the Area in of MGNREGA. Dr.Ghosal is a Gold Medal Awardee for being the Topper in M.A. Political Science of the Vidyasagar University. She was also awarded with Asutosh Paul Memorial Endowment Medal. Dr. Mahua Ghosal presented 5 papers in the International/National Seminar/Conferences/Workshop and has published paper in a National Journal. 


Dr. Pallavi Sinha Das

Subject : Political Science

Dr. Pallavi Sinha Das has graduated from Government College for girls- 42, Chandigarh, post?graduated from Government College for girls-11 Chandigarh and did her PhD from Punjab University, Chandigarh. An interdisciplinary teacher who look into prospects from an interface of political theory, Public Policy, rural and urban development and administrative structure as well as comparative administration. Presented various papers in National Seminars. Specializes in Empowerment of women, quality of life, Policies on women, Self-help Groups on dalit women.


Dr. Amrita Dey

Subject : Political Science

Dr. Amrita Dey is an M.A and PhD in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi (with Southeast Asia as her specialization). Having graduated from Presidency College, Kolkata, she has taught as a Guest Lecturer at the M.A Part II level, University of Calcutta. She has also worked as a Research Associate of the University of Calcutta and as a journalist of the Statesman Ltd for three years. Her publications include her own book, chapters in edited volumes, Perspective articles in English dailies, unit-writing for IGNOU and other referred journals of National and international repute. She has presented papers at national and international conferences. She has also worked as a Fellow of Maulana  Abul Kalam Azad Institute for Asian Studies on the project titled, ‘India and Myanmar Relations: Paving the Way for Constructive Engagement’. Presently she is working as an Assistant Professor of International Relations at Adamas University.
