Prof. N.L. Mitra

Advisor to Chancellor

Prof. N. L. Mitra is a well-known legal academician, ex-Chancellor of KIIT University and Advisor to the Chancellor.

Prof. Mitra is credited with giving a new direction to legal education in the country. He is associated with many academic institutes of national and international repute as mentor and advisor.

He is well known in India and abroad as an eminent academician and academic administrator and has been advisor to leading law schools of the country, including National Law University, Odisha and law school of IIT Kharagpur. He had been the Vice-Chancellor of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore and National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur. He has been the Chairman of different important Government of India Committees and has advised Reserve Bank of India and other important bodies.

He is a life member of Indian Institute of Public administration ( IIPA )and India Law Institute. He is presently member of the legal education committee of the bar council of India & a senior partner of a leading law firm FOX Mandal & Associates

Prof. Sanjib Ghosh

Professor of Eminence, Advisor to Vice Chancellor

A Presidencian to the core, having graduated from Presidency College and post-graduated from Calcutta University. In his doctoral pursuits, he joined the group of the eminent spectroscopist Prof Mihir Chowdhury at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata and was awarded Ph.D degree by Calcutta University. He chose to go abroad for his post-doctoral studies and joined Prof A.H. Maki in UC Davis, California, USA as Research Associate for five years(1983-1987).

However, during his quest for new knowledge, he continued his teaching and research career in Presidency College for thirty six years, starting from Professor to Head of the Department of Chemistry and finally culminating as the Principal of the eminent institute. During this phase, Prof Ghosh, who is still recognised as one of the best teachers in Physical Chemistry, nurtured many young brilliant minds, some of whom are extremely renowned scientists today and Washington, London, Paris, Zurich, Melbourne, Auckland, Christchurch, Toronto, Los-Angeles, Singapore, Keiv. are occupying top positions in research institutes and universities in both India and abroad.

Major General (Dr.) S. Sridhar

Advisor to Vice Chancellor

Superannuated from Indian Army after 38 years of active service. He teneted several Command, Staff and Instructional assignments.

He also functioned at Operational and Strategic levels and worked as Vice President and Director General Amity University, Mumbai.
