Adamas University set on yet another journey to fulfill its dream to make itself truly global. The mission was to explore the Middle East to facilitate student admission at Adamas University from the region though information dissemination. The University made its maiden participation in “GETEX Autumn 2016” at The Meydan Gallery & Convention Centre, Dubai, UAE, from 24-26 November, 2016 organized by International Conferences & Exhibitions L.L.C. After it took part in a Bangladesh event, this was the second time in a row for Adamas University to participate in international education and placement fairs. A comprehensive education and training event that is held annually in the Middle East, Getex acts as an interface between various education institutes & universities across the globe and students looking for a suitable campus. Adamas University witnessed a footfall of around 130 high quality potential students seeking information on various programs and campus facilities that it provides. The show that registers the highest number of student enrollments post inquiry, is undeniably a promising platform for universities like Adamas which intends to make a global footprint, pronto. The University joined hands with The Big Break Consultancy & Training Est. as its Business Partner for UAE which will support it in designing a roadmap to deliver customized services in the geography where Indians (NRI+PIO) constitute over 30% of the total population. Other Indian universities that also made a presence in the Getex included Manipal University, S.P. Jain, Lakshya and BITS. With its first steps towards the Midlle East through Getex 2016 participation, Adamas University promises to make a powerful comeback in the Getex Spring fair April, 2017 as well.
