The visit resulted in fruitful discussions with Prof. (Dr.) Radha Tamal Goswami, Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor to explore areas of collaboration between Adamas and the upcoming campus of Queen’s at the Gift City, Ahmedabad, especially in areas of Science and Technology, Business Analytics, Construction and Project Management.

The International Relations Office is delighted to share that Dr. Parama Kundu, Assistant Director & Zonal Head – International Relations, undertook the maiden institutional visit to Norbuling Rigter College (NRC), Paro, Bhutan marking the beginning of a meaningful collaboration under the Memorandum of Understanding between Adamas University and NRC, and opening new avenues for future academic exchange. During this visit, Ms. Sanjita Bhattacharya (M.A. English Language and Literature, Semester III) and Ms. Aliviya Maity (MBA – HR/Marketing, Semester III) successfully participated and were awarded certificates at the Rigter Student Research Colloquium – Series III, hosted by NRC from 20th–23rd August 2025. Their participation, alongside student researchers from institutions under the Royal University of Bhutan, represented a significant step in strengthening international academic dialogue and fostering a vibrant research culture.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Adamas University, is proud to announce that Dr. Hirak Mazumdar has been officially selected by the Organizing Committee of the Advanced Materials Congress (AMC), under the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), to deliver the Advanced Materials Research & Innovation Lecture at the esteemed Sweden Nobel Room, Stockholm Assembly 2025.
This global recognition highlights Dr. Mazumdar’s outstanding contributions to the field of advanced materials and interdisciplinary innovation, strengthening the university’s presence on international scientific platforms.
In addition to this honour, Dr. Mazumdar’s latest research article, titled
“Machine learning integrated graphene oxide-based diagnostics, drug delivery, analytical approaches to empower cancer diagnosis,”
has been accepted for publication in BMEMat, a Wiley journal with an impressive Impact Factor of 15.5. The publication reflects cutting-edge work at the intersection of machine learning, nanotechnology, and biomedical engineering—a significant step toward real-time cancer diagnostics and smart drug delivery systems.
These achievements underscore the department’s growing impact in high-value research and its continued commitment to global collaboration, innovation, and academic excellence.
