We are pleased to announce Adamas University’s participation in the Indo-Russian Education Summit 2024, held in New Delhi. Over 50 Russian universities were in attendance at this esteemed event. Our Honourable Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Samit Ray, graced the summit with his presence and signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Kuban State Agrarian University. This collaboration aims to enhance mutual cooperation and partnership in research and educational development initiatives.

Adamas University proudly announces the launch of the new course “Post-M.Sc. Diploma in Medical Physics”, becoming the first private university in West Bengal as well as in entire eastern India to offer such a prestigious program in collaboration with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Cancer Hospital. Approved by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), Government of India, this diploma course marks a significant milestone in the university’s commitment to excellence in education and healthcare.

Medical physics is a dynamic field at the intersection of physics, medicine, and healthcare technology. The Post-M.Sc. Diploma in Medical Physics at Adamas University is designed to provide specialized training in the classroom and field both and 1-year internship experience to aspiring medical physicists, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this critical healthcare discipline. Adamas University also signed an MoU with Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College and Hospital for the internship along with NCRI Hospital.

In this field, diverse career opportunities are available including roles in hospitals and healthcare institutes, government agencies and regulatory bodies like BARC and AERB, research and academic institutions, diagnostic centers, radiation therapy facilities, etc.
