Professor (Dr.) Shauli Mukherjee, the distinguished Professor and Dean of the School of Education as well as the Dean of International Relations at Adamas University, alongside Mr. Saumya Subhra Roy, the Director of University Operations, recently engaged in fruitful discussions with the esteemed President of Lincoln University College Kuala Lumpur. The culmination of these discussions saw the official signing of the MoU, solidifying the partnership between the two institutions.

The MOU was officially signed following a series of fruitful discussions between the senior officials of both institutions, led by Prof. (Dr.) Shauli Mukherjee, Professor and Dean of the School of Education, and Dean of International Relations at Adamas University, along with Mr. Saumya Subhra Roy, Director of University Operations.

The collaboration aims to foster joint initiatives and promote academic exchange between the two universities, facilitating mutual growth and development. Adamas University organised a transformative HR conclave, “Engage & Empower,” on Saturday. The programme brought together HR luminaries, industry experts, and thought leaders with a primary focus on stimulating collaboration and sharing invaluable insights. This Conclave is conceptualized and executed by the Career Development Centre (CDC) of the university. The event aimed to help HR professionals by encouraging innovation and empowerment. It provided a platform for meaningful discussions and sharing knowledge about the changing field of HR management.

The conclave’s objectives included facilitating dialogue on emerging trends, showcasing innovations transforming HR practices, and empowering professionals with the skills needed for organisational growth. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in networking, collaboration, and building strategic partnerships across diverse sectors and industries.

Prof. (Dr.) Samit Ray, Founder Chancellor, of Adamas University, and Prof. Suranjan Das, Vice Chancellor, of Adamas University, inaugurated the programme. Chandan Majumdar, CEO, RICE Group; and Abhijit Giri, Director, Career Development Centre (CDC), were also present there, along with other luminaries.

Our senior officials visited UCSI University and Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 4th March and had a productive meeting with the senior officials of both Universities regarding student exchange programs, faculty exchange programs, joint research and other collaborative initiatives. The highly anticipated 4th Khelo India Games kicked off in Guwahati, Assam on February 17th, 2024 at Sarusajai Sports Complex. Adamas University has assembled the most extensive team ever from East India to compete in the Khelo India Games. With an impressive count of 79 members, which includes talented students, dedicated trainers and managers. This is the first time that the KIUG is being held in the seven Northeastern Indian states – Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland and Tripura – to highlight the region’s rich cultural and sporting diversity.

The Dubai Immersion Program 2024 provided students with a unique and enriching experience, combining cultural exploration and professional insights in the vibrant city of Dubai. From January 17th to January 22nd, students engaged in various activities, workshops, and visits to prominent educational institutions.

The program kicked off on January 18th with a session at Curtin University, where students were captivated by a presentation from Dan Atkins, the CEO of Curtin University. The session provided valuable insights into the educational landscape and set the tone for the immersive experience that awaited the students.

The following day, participants visited the Hult International Business School, where they received a briefing on the institution’s educational policies and structure from enrollment advisor Avijeet Khakharia. A session on “Innovation for Sustainability Development” by Prof. Belisa Marochi added depth to the student’s understanding of global challenges and the role of innovation in addressing them.

On January 19th, students had the opportunity to explore the DēMont Institute of Management and Technology, an institution that seamlessly blends modern architecture with state-of-the-art facilities. The faculty’s commitment to academic excellence and engaging discussions left a lasting impression on the students.

Continuing their academic journey, participants visited The University of Wollongong Dubai, where they explored cutting-edge research facilities and libraries. The campus’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity fostered a collaborative spirit among students, contributing to a vibrant academic atmosphere.

Beyond the academic realm, students delved into Dubai’s rich culture and entertainment. Exploring the iconic Dubai Mall, they immersed themselves in a world of luxury, entertainment, and diverse retail offerings. The architectural marvels of the Dubai Aquarium and Burj Khalifa added to the overall allure of the experience.

The program’s cultural exploration peaked with a thrilling Desert Safari, offering students a journey into the mesmerizing Arabian dunes. The combination of exhilarating dune bashing, camel rides, and a stunning desert sunset created a memorable experience. The traditional Arabian camp, with cultural performances and delicious cuisine, allowed students to connect with the region’s rich heritage.

Expressing their gratitude, students extended thanks to Adamas University for organizing the Dubai Immersion Program 2024. The program provided a valuable opportunity for students to enrich their academic and cultural understanding, leaving them with positive and lasting impressions of Dubai’s dynamic blend of modernity and tradition.

Adamas University once again showcased its vibrant spirit and creative energy as it hosted the annual extravaganza, Adinova 2024, on the 12th and 13th of February. The two-day festival celebrated with fervor and enthusiasm, featured a diverse range of interactive events and competitions, captivating participants and audiences alike.

The first day, Monday, witnessed an array of interactive events and competitions that engaged the students and spectators alike. Events such as Bioscope, Magiquill, Inquisitive, Sound of Music, VoxPop, Life on Campus, “Danceation,” Musicorum Club, and Kissewala Club-Play filled the air with music, dance, drama, and more. The highlight of the day was the exceptional performance by Anurag Halder, a renowned singer, who left an indelible mark on the audience with his mesmerizing performance.

The festivities continued on the second day, featuring a plethora of competitions and plays that showcased the diverse talents of the university’s students. The Model Making Competition, Group Dance Competition, Nukkad—Street Play, Valley of Voice Recitation, Ramp on Fire—Fashion Show, and Jhankar Club were some of the events that kept the excitement levels soaring. The evening was graced by the presence of the renowned Bollywood playback singer, Amit Mishra, who took the stage and enthralled the audience with his soulful tunes, leaving them grooving to the rhythm.

Adinova 2024 not only provided a platform for students to showcase their talents but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and creativity on the campus. As Adinova 2024 came to a close, participants and spectators alike left with memories of an unforgettable celebration of talent, creativity, and community spirit. With each passing year, Adamas University’s annual festival continues to raise the bar, setting new standards for excellence and innovation in campus events.
