In its endeavor to collaborate with elite universities and academic institutes of the world, Adamas University organized an event welcoming prominent scholar Professor Masahiro OUCHI of Kochi University of Technology, Japan. Mr. Samit Ray, Chancellor-Adamas University along with other distinguished audience and students of the University found the civil development work completely inspirational and mesmerizing. The measure is aimed at enhancing University’s global ties and encouraging students to learn from Japan’s effort to become the 2nd largest economy of the world, literally rising from the ashes.

Prof. Gianfranco Visited at Adamas University
Visit of Senior Lawyer, Prof. Gianfranco Tamburelli from National Research Council of Italy to Adamas University from 9th to 14th March, 2017
Gianfranco Tamburelli is a senior lawyer with over twenty-five years of professional experience, specializing in international, EU, and environmental law. He has worked as team leader and project manager of a public research institution; university professor; international legal consultant.
He is expert in the fields of international cooperation for sustainable development; the legal regimes and the protection of the environment of the Polar Regions; EU foreign relations with Eastern Countries, particularly Ukraine, and Russia; the sustainable management of land and of national parks. He has held positions at the Ministry of Environment and furnished legal advice to various other institutions, particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy.
He has been speaker at a number of international conferences and seminars, member of various international organizations, and of editorial boards of scientific journals. As an internationally recognized legal expert he has worked in various countries, among which Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Palestine, and Ukraine.
With the support of Dean, Professor Dr. B. N. Pandey, Prof. Gianfranco delivered a “Lectio Magistralis” on: International Law on Environment and Sustainable Development: The Situations Today, and had a Meeting with students of various Faculties for a discussion on the role of the law and the importance of public awareness for the effective protection of the environment.
The Adamas University also organized a Seminar with some Professors and researchers. Professor Dr. Madhusudan Chakraborty, Vice Chancellor of the University, welcomed and introduced Prof. Gianfranco, who delivered a speech on: International Scientific Cooperation between Public and Private Universities and Research Bodies. He enriched his speech referring to his long-lasting experience, and describing three research projects he is currently developing, respectively on International Cooperation for the Protection of the Environment, EU Relations with Eastern Countries and Russia, Human Rights of Asylum Seekers in Italy and Hungary. During the Seminar Prof. Gianfranco expressed his intention to maintain and strengthen the existing mutual relations between the Adamas University, the Institute for International Legal Studies and different Departments of the National Research Council of Italy.

Career-Fair Cum Seminar at Vietnam
Adamas University (AU) at Vietnam! AU is all set to create record in 2017 by crossing boundaries and going places! On 27th Feb, AU participated in a career-fair cum seminar @ Marie Curie High School at Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The seminar was targeted towards Standard XII students and around 400 students participated who were disseminated information about Adamas University. AU participated in a no of seminars in Vietnam.
Career Fair In Thimpu, Bhutan
Adamas University participated and represented India in the Bhutan Educational Fair, 2017 Thimpu, Bhutan which was held at Changlimithang Stadium Parking, Thimpu on 25th & 26th March’2017. It was a 2 day fair organised by Bhutan Chambers of Commerce and Industries & Educational Consultant Forum – Bhutan (BCCI)
AU was represented by AVP Partha Pratim Bandyopadhyay. The event was graced and inaugurated by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bhutan.
Universities from different countries like Australia, Nepal, India etc visited the fair. The 2 day event was a huge success with more than 165 footfall in the Adamas University stall through-out the day. Students flocked into the AU stall and enquired a lot about the different schools and courses which they provide. Adamas University has been working in Bhutan and other adjoining countries to attract students to Kolkata, India for education purpose.

Adamas University participated in “Getex Autumn 2016” at The Meydan Gallery & Convention Centre, Dubai, UAE, from 24-26 November, 2016 to enable student admission at Adamas University from the Middle East region though information dissemination.

Reaching new heights of success, Adamas University has struck a partnership agreement with Dnipropetrovsk National University, Ukraine on 29th February 2016.
Collaboration with Universities of China
Adamas University collaborated with some of the well-known universities in the China. Adamas University invited a host of eminent academicians from Fuzhou University, Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, Hong Kong Baptist University and The University of Hong Kong, China. This initiative will remarkably boost the University’s global reach with the view to provide learning platform that matches international standards.
