Arts and cultural education is the beginning in the co-creation of culturally conscious and aesthetically sensitive individuals (young people). In today’s world there is a need to develop responsibility towards preserving and passing the cultural capital from generation to generation.
At Adamas, we believe in that true education is not limited to the books and degrees that one has subscribed to but a fuller expression of one’s self is only possible whilst engaging with extra-curricular activities. The University has partned with Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad, a government entity to offer our students regular weekly classes in Vocal training, Dance, Elocution, Training in Musical Instruments such as Keyboards, Guitar, Violin, Tabla, Drums, etc. These classes are taken by accredited and approved teachers.
If students wish to complete the course they can also get a certification from the Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad.
Students get the opportunity to put their training and practice to use in frequent interval at various celebrations at the University such as Dol Utsav, Rabindra Jayanti, Bhasha Utsav, Teacher’s Day, Annual Fest, Departmental Celebrations, etc. All this makes for an experience that illuminates and expands our students’ horizon.
Foreign Language Training:
In today’s era, multilingualism has become more than just a phrase or thought. Knowing a foreign language other than your native language has evolved to be extremely beneficial.
Be it from a social or a financial aspect, if one can communicate in a non-native language, it helps to make meaningful connection with people and provides opportunities that wouldn’t have existed without the knowledge of that language.
At Adamas University, we provide thorough training in mainly three foreign languages:
Communicative English is woven into all courses offered at the University.
