Arts and cultural education is the beginning in the co-creation of culturally- conscious and aesthetically- sensitive young people. In today’s world, there is a need to develop responsibility towards preserving and passing on the cultural capital from generation to generation.
At Adamas, we believe in that true education is not limited to the books and degrees that one has subscribed to, but a fuller expression of one’s self is only possible whilst while engaging in extra-curricular activities. The University has partnered with Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad, a government entity, to offer students regular weekly classes in Vocal Training, Dance, Elocution, and Training in Musical Instruments such as Keyboards, Guitar, Violin, Tabla, Drums, etc. These classes are conducted by accredited and approved teachers.
If students complete the courses, they can get a certification from the Sarbabharatiya Sangeet O Sanskriti Parishad.
Students get an opportunity to put their training and practice to frequent use during celebrations at the University, such as Dol Utsav, Rabindra Jayanti, Bhasha Utsav, Teacher’s’ Day, Annual Fest, departmental celebrations, etc. This makes for an experience that illuminates and expands the students’ horizons.
Foreign Language Training:
In today’s era, multilingualism has become more than just a phrase or thought. Knowing a foreign language other than your native language has proved to be extremely beneficial.
Be it from a social or a financial aspect, if one can communicate in a non-native language, it helps one make meaningful connections with people and provides opportunities that wouldn’t have existed without the knowledge of that language.
At Adamas University, we provide thorough training in mainly three foreign languages:
Communicative English is woven into all courses offered at the University.
