Adamas University has established an Anti-Discrimination Cell in compliance with UGC directions for the prevention of caste-based discrimination for the purpose of resolving the complaints arising from any act of discrimination happening against Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students/ teachers/ non-teaching staff. The duty of the Committee will be to:
- Deal with representations received from SC and ST candidates regarding their admission, recruitment, promotion and other similar matters in the University
- Function as a Grievance Redressal Cell for the grievances of SC/ ST students and employees of the University, and render them necessary help in solving their academic as well as administrative problems
There is also a Complaint Register being maintained in the Office of the Registrar for the purpose of registering complaints.
