M.Sc. (Economics)
About the Program
The M.Sc. in Economics is a two-year postgraduate program having specialization tracks in applied econometrics, public policy and banking & finance. The Program aims to provide rigorous training in modern economic theories and techniques with a special emphasis on evaluating the policy issues. The graduates of M.Sc. program will gain skills required for advanced research in variety of domains in economics and will have strong grasp over collecting, collating, analyzing data and providing meaningful insights form the analysis. This is supplemented by series of courses based on advanced tools and techniques for data analysis aided by different software (s) and a dedicated yearlong master dissertation. The graduates will gain lifelong learning skills during the program such as leadership and teamwork and become industry ready with cutting edge knowledge.

At the end of the Program the students will be able to:

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 50% aggregate in UG degree in Economics or Applied Economics or Allied Subjects to Economics (Honours or Major) from any recognised university in India or abroad.

Internship and Placements
The Department of Economics and School of Business and Economics is supported by a Career Development Centre (CDC) of Adamas University and a dedicated committee of faculty members within the department for placement and internship related activities. The two jointly not only provides support in placements and internships for the students but also orient the students to get industry ready. The department also organize boot camps focusing on these activities time to time. Some of our prominent recruiters in recent past have been Bank of America, Reliance Jio, Kotak, Bajaj Finance, Empaxis, and many more.
