The 39th International Conference on VLSI Design & 25th International Conference on Embedded Systems (VLSID 2026), held in Pune from January 3–7, 2026, brought together 2,000+ engineers, researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and academicians from across the globe to deliberate on AI-enabled silicon, sustainable computing, and next-generation electrified mobility.
Hon’ble Prof. (Dr.) Samit Ray attended VLSID 2026 as a delegate. Alongside him were Mr. Rajat Subhra Roy, Founder Director of Adamas Tech Consulting, and Mr. Saumya Subhra Roy, Director of Adamas Tech Consulting. The delegation engaged in high-level interactions with global technology leaders from Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, Cadence, Siemens, NXP, Marvell, and leading academic institutions.
The conference highlighted key advancements in embedded AI, RISC-V architectures, secure and low-power semiconductor design, and discussions on the evolution of India’s semiconductor ecosystem, reinforcing VLSID’s position as a premier platform for global collaboration and future-focused dialogue.
