Day 2 of the Parallel Residential Training Programmes: Laboratory and Library Practices for School Librarians and School Laboratory Assistants from the Kingdom of Bhutan

Day 2 of the parallel Residential Training Programmes on Laboratory and Library Practices for School Laboratory Assistants and School Librarians from Bhutan, under the aegis of the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, Royal Government of Bhutan, unfolded as a vibrant mix of experiential learning and skill enhancement at Adamas Knowledge City.

Laboratory Assistants and School Librarians spent the day in skill-building sessions that combined technical training with innovative practices. While lab assistants focused on inventory management, effective communication, and solution preparation—culminating in hands-on lab work across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology—librarians explored makerspaces, digital copyright challenges, school library transformation, and automation tools to enhance access and engagement.

Led by Prof. (Dr.) Shauli Mukherjee, Dean – School of Education and Dean – International Relations, the day fostered an enriching environment for professional growth, peer learning, and a deeper exploration of educational innovation.
