Day 4 of the Residential Training Programmes for School Librarians and Laboratory Assistants from Bhutan featured a blend of innovation, sustainability, and skill development, under the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, Royal Government of Bhutan.
The day began with a special visit to Adamas World School, where participants gained insights into integrated school learning environments and student-centric innovation.
Laboratory Assistants then explored innovation in school labs, green laboratory practices, and AR/VR-based content creation through interactive, hands-on sessions. Librarians participated in a game-based communication workshop, a brainstorming session on information literacy, and an interactive discussion on the evolving role of librarians in modern education.
Guided by the vision and leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Shauli Mukherjee, Dean – School of Education and Dean – International Relations, the day was a dynamic blend of forward-thinking skill-building and immersive academic engagement.
