The Department of History, School of Liberal Arts and Culture Studies, Adamas University, Kolkata, in collaboration with the Netaji Institute for Asian Studies, Kolkata (India), is pleased to host a One-Day Workshop on 'Methods and Methodology in Historical Studies’ on 30th May 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at AIT Video Conference Room, Adamas University, Kolkata.
This workshop aims to provide participants—particularly research scholars and postgraduate students—with a foundational and practical understanding of research methods and methodologies across disciplines, with a special emphasis on the humanities and social sciences. The sessions will explore various research approaches, data collection techniques, theoretical frameworks, and ethical considerations integral to academic research.
By bringing together experienced scholars and emerging researchers, the workshop seeks to foster a critical dialogue on how to design, execute, and present scholarly research effectively.
