1.Introduction to the course
The global research company namely “Research and Markets” forecasted in Jan 20, 2020 that the Global Animation, VFX & Video Games Industry will be $300 billion during 2020-2025. To keep up with this pace and to create human resource pool in this track, this course has been designed. This course is having 132 credits divided into core subjects (120 credits) and specialized subjects (12 credits). It will generate a good amount of job ready candidates. The game and animation subjects have laboratory courses where students will be able to learn different theoretical and practical aspect game design and development.
This course is for the aspirants who want to build their career in animation and computer-based game design and development.
After completing this course students have multi-dimensional opportunities:
•Can pursue higher studies such as MBA or MCA
•Can secure a position in Animation, Game Industry
•This course also creates opportunity in film industry where application of animation is increasing day by day.
2.What are the learning outcomes?
After undergoing through this program students will be able to--
•Generate animated sequences from the development of the original concept through design to final film or video production.
•Integrate the concepts, principles and theories involved in the physics of animation in all aspects of drawing.
•Create 2D and 3D characters and environments that reflect the integration of graphic clarity, design principles, performance principles and theoretical constructs.
•Create an animated film incorporating a range of artistic styles and techniques, reflecting the principle that form follows function.
•Visually conceptualize in a clear and concise way the artistic direction for a game or specific game assets using traditional rendering methods or digitally facilitated rendering methods.

5.Internships/Project work
•The internship is to be carried out at the end of 4th semester of study.
•The candidates are selected for internship by a campus selection process.
•Students will be encouraged to participate in animation and gaming industry selection process.
•Internship helps students to build field knowledge and to understand the flow of work in the industry.
•It enhances student’s motivation towards the course and career.
6.Placement & Career Opportunities / Research Opportunities
•This course is designed to place students in all types of animation film making industry, game development industry and also in film industry and has very high credibility of opportunities in those sectors.
•Through this course students will also be able to secure positions in IT Industry.
•Students also may choose to pursue post-graduation in Computer Application (MCA), or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
•For better career opportunities and training Adamas University has Career Development Cell (CDC) who administer all placement and training related issue. Various seminars and lectures series are organized by CDC to update students about present technology, trend, markets, and opportunities.
7.Eligibility
Minimum 50% aggregate in 10th or equivalent examination and minimum 60% aggregate in 10 +2 or equivalent from any recognized board, subject to securing a minimum of 45% marks in each individual subject.
