Prof. (Dr.) Ankita Chakravarty Bhattacharya is a distinguished higher education administrator and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of the Chancellor’s Office at Adamas University, Kolkata, West Bengal. She holds a strong academic foundation, being an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi (IIM-R), and is presently pursuing her D.Litt.
Bringing over 20 years of experience across both corporate and academic sectors, Prof. (Dr.) Bhattacharya has held several key leadership roles, including Founding Pro Vice Chancellor and Vice Chancellor at prominent institutions. Her areas of expertise span academic planning and strategy, curriculum innovation, leadership development, and program design, making her a sought-after advisor in educational reform and institutional development.
She is actively associated with projects in women empowerment and currently serves as the President of the Education Council (WICCI, West Bengal Chapter). As a certified Life Coach (ICF Approved) and licensed Emotional Intelligence (EI) Practitioner, she also brings a strong focus on human development, mentorship, and transformational training into her academic practice.
