- PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The B.A. (Hons.) Public Administration and Governance programme provides a comprehensive understanding of administrative theories, public institutions, governance processes and public policy while connecting academic knowledge with the practical functioning of government and public organisations.
The programme examines administration across local, state and national levels and introduces students to contemporary areas such as public policy, development administration, local governance, administrative ethics, public service delivery, citizen-centric administration and digital governance. Through an interdisciplinary, outcome-based and practice-oriented curriculum, students develop analytical, research, communication, leadership and problem-solving competencies.
A distinctive feature of the programme is the integration of academic learning with Civil Services and competitive examination preparation. The programme combines disciplinary education with structured examination-oriented training, experiential learning and professional exposure, preparing students for higher education, research, public service and diverse governance-related careers.

- BUILT-IN COACHING FOR CIVIL SERVICES AND COMPETITIVE EXAMINATIONS
A distinctive feature of the programme is the integration of Civil Services and competitive examination preparation with undergraduate education. The embedded coaching component enables students to begin structured preparation from the first semester, allowing academic learning and competitive examination preparation to progress simultaneously.
Embedded Coaching from the First Semester
Students begin structured preparation for Civil Services and other competitive examinations from the first semester alongside their regular undergraduate studies.
Integrated Academic and Examination Preparation
The programme combines disciplinary knowledge with systematic examination-oriented training to strengthen conceptual understanding, analytical ability, general awareness, answer-writing skills and competitive preparedness.
UPSC-Oriented Training
The coaching component is designed with inputs from experienced experts and faculty members from reputed institutions, with focused preparation for the UPSC Civil Services Examination and other relevant Central and State Government competitive examinations.
Interdisciplinary Learning
Students receive interdisciplinary exposure through a range of subjects relevant to academic development and competitive examinations, supplemented by opportunities to undertake certified courses through the SWAYAM portal.
Internship and Experiential Learning
Internships, projects and hands-on learning opportunities enable students to connect academic knowledge with practical administrative, governance and professional contexts.
Academic and Professional Expertise
The programme brings together faculty members and experts from Adamas University, RICE Education, RICE IAS and Destination IAS, Delhi, providing students with complementary academic and competitive-examination perspectives.

The programme has been designed under the mentorship of Professor D. P. Agrawal, Former Chairman of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Preparation Beyond Civil Services
