In a landmark move for defense-academia collaboration, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG), Ministry of Defence, signed a first-of-its-kind Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Adamas University on September 30, 2026. Marking the ICG's first strategic partnership with a university in the Eastern Region, this initiative aims to bolster indigenous capabilities, drive student development programs, and advance Coast Guard personnel welfare and capacity-building initiatives.
